"His experience, vision, and dedication to students make him a good fit to guide our district into its next chapter. We are confident his leadership will honor Fowler's proud traditions while inspiring innovation and excellence."

As superintendent, Halpert will work with students, staff, families and community partners to expand educational opportunities and continue the district's mission of providing education for students.

The Fowler Elementary School District serves about 3,600 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade at seven schools and the Dr. Marvene Lobato Child Care Center in southwest Phoenix.
